CVE-2023-32008

Code execution via undisclosed ReFS null dereference

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Jan 1, 2025

Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows ReFS allows local users to execute code after required interaction with malicious input. Microsoft identifies a NULL pointer dereference in ReFS but has not published the affected function or the input operation that triggers it. Exploitation requires local delivery and user interaction, and successful execution can compromise data and interrupt the host.
