Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Aug 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Online Travel Agency System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through employee_insert.php. The handler appends the client-supplied filename to the user directory and passes the temporary file to move_uploaded_file without filtering its name or type. An authenticated administrator can place a PHP payload in the web-accessible admin/user directory and invoke it with the web server's privileges.
