Stored script execution via unfiltered email profile
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Rail Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The admin-profile.php handler stores the email POST value in tbladmin without filtering, then echoes it unescaped into an HTML input value. Administrative access is required to submit the payload, and a user must load a page that renders the stored email; successful exploitation exposes data available to that browser session.
