Authenticated database extraction via unquoted viewid
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Rail Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to extract database data via viewid. In rpms/admin/view-enquiry.php, the handler inserts the unfiltered GET value directly into a SELECT statement instead of binding it as a parameter. An administrator's PHP session is required; crafted predicates create a response oracle that supports database enumeration within the application's database privileges.
