SNMP credential disclosure via plaintext SupportSave logs
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Cleartext credential storage in Brocade SANnav releases before 2.2.2a or 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to read SNMPv3 passwords. A failed SNMP configuration causes the communication log dump included in a subsequent SupportSave capture to record authentication passwords without encryption. The leak requires privileged access to the captured log files after such a failure and exposes credentials used for managed SNMP endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
