Browser script execution via unsanitized stored fields
Published Jun 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in TeamPass before 3.0.9 allows attackers to run script in another user's browser through saved text input. Several administrative, API, folder, item, profile, role, and user fields were saved without DOMPurify processing and later rendered by the interface. A victim must view the saved value; the script then executes with that victim's TeamPass session and can read or alter accessible vault data.
