Stored XSS via unsanitized API labels
Published Jun 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in TeamPass before 3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted API labels. API key and allowed-IP label handlers submit unsanitized field values for storage, and the administrative API page later renders those labels without first applying DOMPurify. Exploitation requires authenticated access to create or edit a label and a victim to view the affected interface; the resulting script runs in that victim's browser context.
