Backend script execution via unescaped payment search
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Jan 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Wuzhi CMS 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a backend operator's browser through a crafted search. The Online Payment search places the keyValue parameter into the displayed order number without neutralizing HTML event attributes. An account with backend access must submit the value, and an operator must hover over the poisoned order number; execution remains in that operator's browser context.
