Administrator session takeover via reflected icon parameter
Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Reflected XSS in Cudy LT400 1.13.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser via a crafted request. The bandwidth endpoint reflects the icon query parameter into its response without neutralizing injected markup, causing the browser to interpret attacker-supplied script. A logged-in administrator must open the request; the script can read the non-HttpOnly sysauth cookie and enable session takeover.
