Stored XSS via unfiltered forum titles
Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Chamilo LMS 1.11.18 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The forum form builders in main/forum/forumfunction.inc.php accepted forum, category, and post title fields without HTML or post filtering. A logged-in user must submit a crafted title and another user must view the affected forum content, allowing script to read page-accessible data or act within that user's session.
