Command injection in TP-Link Archer VR1600V firmware allows remote authenticated users to open an operating-system shell. The administrative portal passes the X_TP_IfName parameter into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires administrator authentication and yields command execution with the router's operating-system privileges.
