Denial of service in Yasm 1.3.0.55.g101bc allows local users to crash the assembler by processing a crafted source file. The do_directive preprocessor function reads through a null pointer while handling the input, causing a segmentation fault. Exploitation requires Yasm to process attacker-controlled input; the public reproducer demonstrates process termination, not code execution.
