Unauthenticated database access via unescaped request parameters
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
SQL injection in Chitor-CMS before 1.1.2 allows remote attackers to read database data through crafted HTTP parameters. The edit_school.php id and add_school_class.php school parameters are interpolated into SQL queries without effective escaping. No authentication is required for the affected routes, and the public exploit demonstrates database enumeration and table-content extraction.
