Heap exhaustion via unchecked collection deserialization

Deserialization in Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through malicious requests. The EAP deserialization path instantiates HashMap and HashTable objects from request data without checking the memory resources consumed by their construction. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted object construction exhausts the Java heap and interrupts hosted application service.
