Unauthenticated SQL injection via uncast cart identifier
Published Jun 14, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
SQL injection in Webbax Postfinance before 17.1.14 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL queries via an orderID parameter. PostfinanceValidationModuleFrontController::postProcess() splits attacker-controlled orderID and inserts the resulting cart identifier into an orders-table query without integer casting. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the injected query can read or alter the PrestaShop database.
