Database crash via unchecked binary value reuse

Denial of service in OpenLink Virtuoso Open Source 7.2.9 allows remote attackers to crash the database via crafted SQL statements. The SQL engine reuses a binary data-value container without checking whether reuse is valid while assigning a scalar subquery result to a BINARY column. Network access to a SQL interface is sufficient; exploitation terminates the database process, interrupting availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
