SQL query-processing flaw in OpenLink Virtuoso Open-Source 7.2.9 allows remote attackers to crash the service with crafted SQL. The dfe_qexp_list query-planning routine crashes while compiling a derived table that UNIONs a nullable column with NULL and applies MIN and MAX through IFNULL. The published assessment treats the path as remotely reachable without authentication; the demonstrated consequence is a server-process crash.
