Stored XSS via unescaped fundraiser fields
Published May 31, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Stored XSS in ChurchCRM 4.5.3 FundRaiserEditor.php allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through fundraiser fields. The editor stores crafted Title or Description values and later renders them in page attributes without neutralizing quote characters. A low-privileged account must save a fundraiser, and another user's interaction with the poisoned field executes code in that user's browser.
