Authenticated command execution via tomography_ping_number
Published May 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Command injection in Motorola CX2L Router 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The router processes the tomography_ping_number request parameter as command input without adequately neutralizing command syntax. Low-privileged network access is required, and successful exploitation can compromise router data, configuration, and availability.
