Elevated code execution via subapplication path traversal

Path traversal in SteelSeries GG 36.0.0 allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges through its IPC API. The unauthenticated POST /subApps handler concatenates attacker-controlled name and executableName values into an executable path and accepts parent-directory traversal. A low-privileged local user must connect to the listening SteelSeriesGG.exe service and bypass signature checks through DLL hijacking or a TOCTOU race; successful exploitation runs the payload at the service's integrity level.
