Unauthorized subscription deletion via missing ownership check
Published May 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Authorization bypass in Apache InLong 1.2.0 through 1.6.0 allows remote attackers to delete subscriptions owned by other users. InlongConsumeServiceImpl.delete selects a consume record by supplied ID and marks it deleted without checking the operator against the record's inCharges owners. The Manager operation is network reachable, and successful exploitation removes shared subscription configuration without requiring ownership of that subscription.
