Unauthenticated JVM access via exposed Jolokia endpoint
Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025
Missing authentication in Talend Studio microservices before 7.3.1-R2022-10 and 8.x before 8.0.1-R2022-09 allows remote attackers to access the JVM. The microservice exposes its Jolokia JMX-HTTP bridge without an authentication gate, so requests reach JVM management interfaces anonymously. Only generated Talend Studio microservice deployments are affected; Talend Studio itself, its other components, and ESB Runtime are outside the affected scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
