Database disclosure via Logbuch SQL injection
Published May 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
SQL injection in evasys before 8.2 Build 2286 and 9.x before 9.0 Build 2401 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL statements. The /project/SearchProject/ endpoint incorporates attacker-controlled welche input into a database query as SQL syntax, enabling Boolean-blind, stacked, and UNION queries. A valid account with Logbuch access is required; successful UNION queries expose database tables, including stored usernames and passwords.
