Local sensitive-information disclosure via shell-variable printing
Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Information disclosure in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.1.1c and 9.2.0 allows local users to view sensitive data in terminal output. The affected CLI commands print the contents of shell-interpreted variables instead of treating those values as opaque command data. Low-privileged switch CLI access and execution of an affected command are required; disclosure is limited to terminal-visible data.
