Configuration disclosure and modification via unauthenticated API
Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Missing API authentication in SICK AG EventCam App all versions allows remote attackers to read and modify configuration settings. The EventCam API accepts configuration access and change requests without verifying credentials or operating-entity authorization. Ethernet reachability alone exposes stored settings to disclosure and unauthorized changes that can interrupt normal app operation.
