CVE-2023-31409Network attack vector

Webserver service interruption via Slowloris requests

Published May 15, 2023 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Uncontrolled resource consumption in SICK FTMg firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt the embedded webserver via HTTP requests. Slowloris-style requests hold HTTP connections open long enough to exhaust the webserver's finite request-handling resources. Exploitation requires network access but no authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is reduced webserver availability.
