Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped email subjects
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in oacstudio Mailtree Log Mail 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through a crafted email subject. The plugin stores wp_mail() subjects and renders the saved subject in its log interface without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. An unauthenticated sender must cause WordPress to log the crafted subject; the script runs when a user views the affected log entry.
