Improper input validation in AMD processor SMM handlers allows local privileged users to overwrite SMRAM and execute arbitrary code. The handler accepts insufficiently constrained input and writes into protected System Management RAM; AMD has not disclosed the exact handler or field. Exploitation requires high privileges, local access, and high-complexity conditions, but successful execution crosses into SMM.
