CVE-2023-31325

Privileged PSP memory tampering via improper isolation

Published Sep 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Improper SoC resource isolation in affected AMD processors and graphics products allows local users to read or alter PSP-reserved DRAM. The SoC leaves the PSP-reserved DRAM region insufficiently isolated, permitting privileged software outside the PSP trust boundary to modify its contents. Exploitation requires high local privileges and high complexity; successful access compromises stored data confidentiality and integrity without a reported availability impact.
