CVE-2023-31322

Shared-memory read or write via RAS type confusion

Published Sep 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Type confusion in the AMD Secure Processor on affected Radeon 7000 graphics cards allows local users to read or write shared memory. The Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability trusted application interprets a malformed argument as an incompatible type and accesses shared memory through the confused representation. Low-privilege local access is required; successful exploitation can expose or alter shared data and interrupt service.
