CVE-2023-31309

Privileged data disclosure and interruption via malformed arguments

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

Improper array-index validation in AMD Radeon graphics PMFW allows privileged local users to disclose data or interrupt GPU availability. When exporting workload-table data from the system management unit to DRAM, the firmware accepts malformed workload arguments without adequately validating an array index. High privileges and local access are required; AMD reports confidentiality loss and limited availability loss but does not disclose the exposed data or failure mode.
