Information disclosure via exported username formula
Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
CSV injection in Sesami Cash Point & Transport Optimizer 6.3.8.6 (#718) allows attackers to disclose data through a crafted User Name. The users CSV export writes the User Name value without neutralizing spreadsheet formula syntax, so the formula executes when the file is opened in spreadsheet software. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled content to reach the export and a recipient to open that CSV; the published consequence is sensitive-information disclosure.
