Unauthenticated memory corruption via unbounded URL copy
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Yifan YF325 1.0_20221108 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through a crafted Wireless_WDS request. The httpd do_wds function passes the attacker-controlled URL-path suffix to strcpy without checking its length before copying it into a static stack buffer. The endpoint requires no authentication; Talos does not establish whether successful exploitation only crashes httpd or also enables code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
