CVE-2023-31238Network attack vector

User impersonation via unprotected session cookies

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Dec 9, 2025

Missing cookie protections in Siemens SICAM P850 and P855 before 3.11 and SICAM T before 3.0 allow attackers to impersonate users. Under default settings, the web interface issues session cookies without required protection flags, exposing reusable session tokens. Exploitation requires access to a legitimate user's session token and user interaction; reuse grants that user's application privileges.
