CVE-2023-31218Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized page-field updates

Published Aug 18, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored XSS in PluginUs.Net WOLF – WordPress Posts Bulk Editor and Manager Professional 1.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts. The wpbe_update_page_field path accepts page-field content without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, so stored markup executes when an injected page is viewed. The CNA describes a CSRF path requiring user interaction, while Wordfence reports direct reachability to Subscriber-level users; execution is confined to a victim’s browser session.
