Improper authentication in Intel Server OpenBMC Firmware before egs-1.09 allows local users to escalate privileges through local access. Intel has not published the affected authentication component or the incorrect operation it performs on attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires existing low privileges on affected Sapphire Rapids Eagle Stream hardware and permits limited data exposure or alteration without interrupting service.
