CVE-2023-31162Network attack vector

Authenticated configuration-file modification via undisclosed input flaw

Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025

Improper input validation in SEL RTAC products allows remote authenticated users to alter configuration-file contents through the web interface. SEL has not disclosed the affected request parameter or the validation error that permits the file-content change. Access to an authenticated RTAC session is required, and successful exploitation compromises configuration integrity and can interrupt operation.
