Response tampering via improper certificate validation

Improper certificate validation in the SEL RTAC web interface allows man-in-the-middle attackers to alter TLS-protected responses. The web interface fails to validate the certificate for an upstream TLS connection, allowing an on-path attacker to proxy the connection and inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. Exploitation requires control of the communication path and user interaction, and its direct consequence is response-content disclosure or modification.
