Incorrect resource transfer in Samsung Shannon RCS on Exynos Modem 5123 and 5300 allows remote attackers to query SIM status. Shannon RCS transfers a resource into the wrong protection sphere, where a crafted application can issue an unintended SIM-status query. Exploitation requires a crafted application; Samsung has not published a more specific code locus or any broader consequence.
