Cross-site request forgery in Marco Steinbrecher WP BrowserUpdate 4.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. Public advisories identify the vulnerable locus only as the settings update path and do not disclose the request handler or failed validation operation. The attack requires an authenticated administrator to submit an attacker-controlled request, and the documented consequence is limited to plugin-setting changes.
