CVE-2023-31058Network attack vector

Unauthorized data modification via whitespace-obfuscated JDBC parameter

Published May 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Deserialization in Apache InLong 1.4.0 through 1.6.0 allows remote attackers to alter data via a whitespace-obfuscated MySQL JDBC URL. MySQLSinkDTO.filterSensitive decodes the URL but checks sensitive parameter names without first removing blanks, so a split autoDeserialize token evades the filter. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published impact is data modification, not disclosure or service interruption.
