CVE-2023-31056Network attack vector

Password disclosure via plaintext audit-log parameters

Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in CloverDX Server allows remote authenticated users to obtain master and user passwords from audit logs. The server-audit.log writer records API parameters in plaintext, including credentials supplied during Server Console login and master-password changes. Exposure requires an affected release with audit logging enabled and no single sign-on, plus sufficient access to read the log file.
