CVE-2023-31034

Local service interruption via SBIOS integer overflow

Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Integer overflow in NVIDIA DGX A100 SBIOS before 1.25 allows local users to bypass input validation and tamper with data. NVIDIA identifies the locus only as SBIOS and has not disclosed the affected routine, input field, or arithmetic operation that overflows. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, high attack complexity, and user interaction; consequences include information disclosure, data tampering, and service interruption.
