Privilege escalation and disclosure via improper validation
Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Improper input validation in NVIDIA DGX H100 BMC before 23.08.18 allows attackers to escalate privileges and disclose data via REST requests. The REST service fails to validate attacker-controlled input, but NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or unsafe operation. Exploitation requires an account with high privileges and adjacent-network access, and the reported impact excludes service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
