Unauthenticated API access via missing authorization checks
Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
Missing authorization in Palantir Technologies Tiles before 4.326.0 allows remote attackers to read protected data and perform unauthorized API operations. The Tiles1 service fails to apply authentication and authorization checks consistently across its API endpoints, so requests reach protected resources without an authenticated identity or permission decision. No credentials or user interaction are required; the affected endpoints, readable data, and permitted state changes remain undisclosed.
