CVE-2023-30945Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file read and write via path traversal

Published Jun 26, 2023 · Updated Dec 5, 2024

Path traversal in Palantir video services before their fixed releases allows remote attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files. The services accept attacker-controlled filenames without limiting resolved paths to intended directories, exposing the underlying filesystem. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient against Clips2 before 0.111.2, Video Clip Distributor before 0.24.10, and Video History Server before 2.210.3.
