Authentication bypass via improperly protected APIs
Published Sep 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
Authentication bypass in affected HPE OneView and OneView Global Dashboard releases allows remote attackers to access protected APIs. Some OneView API endpoints fail to enforce authentication on remote requests; HPE has not disclosed the affected endpoints or validation path. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the bypass exposes the data and management operations permitted by those APIs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
