Privilege escalation via protected registry-key deletion

Privilege escalation in Trend Micro Apex One 2019 allows local users to delete privileged Security Agent registry keys. Trend Micro has not published the agent component or local operation that incorrectly permits deletion of keys covered by its registry self-protection. Local access to an affected Windows endpoint is required; the documented consequence is key deletion, while the vendor labels the issue privilege escalation.
