CVE-2023-30860Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via stored meeting-topic XSS

Published May 8, 2023 · Updated Feb 24, 2026

Stored XSS in AVideo before 12.4 allows remote authenticated users to hijack accounts through a crafted meeting topic. The Meet scheduling workflow stores malicious characters from the topic field without neutralization and renders the saved value on the Upcoming view. A normal account can plant the script, but another user must view the meeting; execution in that session exposes cookies and enables account takeover.
