Database manipulation via unsafe translation filter property
Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025
SQL injection in Pimcore before 10.5.21 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the translation export API. TranslationController::getGridFilterCondition placed the JSON filter property's value into a SQL condition without parameter binding. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator session and can expose, modify, or delete database data without user interaction.
